The COMESA Financial Exchange (Pty) Ltd (Fin-X), a wholly owned BankservAfrica company, provides SWIFT bureau services to financial institutions throughout Africa and the Middle East.
The Fin-X service bureau offers cost-effective connectivity, management and maintenance of SWIFT software interfaces. Fin-X service bureau clients use the SWIFT Alliance workstations to create, verify, authorise and approve SWIFT FIN messages.
This offers maximum efficiency to provide SWIFTNet FIN connectivity in accordance with SWIFT standards and regulations. Utilising the Fin-X service bureau guarantees high availability of the network, reliability, integrity of information passing through the service bureau and confidentiality. Maintenance of the interface software is ongoing with standard releases, migrations and upgrades initiated, approved, planned, tracked and implemented promptly with support and initial training.
The Fin-X service bureau is equipped with a SWIFT Alliance base license, SWIFT Alliance workstation license, SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SNL, SWIFT port connectivity, VPN boxes, HSM boxes as well as network connectivity through Orange. This allows the Fin-X service bureau to offer connectivity to its interface.
The Fin-X service bureau simplifies the operational issues for businesses and takes responsibility for constantly monitoring and performing daily operational tasks to keep the SWIFT connection from the Fin-X SWIFT service bureau operational.
